Central Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy located in beautiful Santa Monica, California. We are now open 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.  At this time we are closed on the weekends. We are devoted to providing friendly, exceptional, personalized service to each and every one of our customers. In addition to filling your traditional prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, we also offer compounded medications for hormone replacement therapy, pain management, dermatology, children, animals, and much more.

We offer free parking behind our building off of 20th street (in designated pharmacy spots), and for customers who don’t live close by, we offer a variety of shipping options to choose from FedEx Ground and Express and First Class and Priority Mail. Need something shipped overnight?....just ask!

What is Compounding?

Compounding is the practice of preparing personalized or custom medications by mixing and/or altering the ingredients of a drug or several drugs to create a medication tailored to the needs of an individual patient.

Not all pharmacies can compound, nor do all compounding pharmacies test their compounds for accuracy. Central pharmacy is fully equipped with the highest quality equipment and ingredients, has specially trained pharmacists and technicians, and we regularly send samples of our compounded medications to a laboratory for potency testing to ensure we are dispensing proper medication dosages.

Amazing service! I had just had another  bad experience at the rite aid down the street. At this point I was done with rite aid and started walking down to this pharmacy to see if they could help me. I arrived at 4:50, they close at 5, I explained to them my situation and how I was treated at rite aid. They quickly entered my insurance information processed my prescription and had me out of their office in 10 minutes.

They never once complained on me showing up at at closing and they never one mistreated me. I felt like a valued customer.
